Project objectives

Newport Medical had been providing high quality ventilators for over 25 years when they commissioned this work. While they weren't looking to change their logo, they did want to step up the rest of their identity. Custom photography was shot and I developed an ownable colorization style for their imagery that drove focus toward the main subjects, both human and product. Because this look used their existing logo and corporate colors, it retained brand equity for Newport while allowing them to expand their marketing efforts with a fresh approach.

Upleveling a visual identity can help raise the perception of value in the eyes of not only customers, but also lucrative investors. Newport Medical was bought out by the medical device manufacturer Covidien for $108 million just a few years later.
